- Director
of the Institute is an M.A and M.S.W. degree holder from
the University of Kerala and Ph.D from Cochin University
of Science and Technology. He studied in Coady International
Institute of St. Franzis Xavier University Canada and secured
a Diploma in Social Development (DSD). He is a member of
the Academic Council of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
He is also recognized research guide of M.G University for
the last ten years. He has served as Member and Chairman
of Board of Studies in several Universities in India.
Fr. Varghese was selected by Marywood University
Pennsylvania, USA as the distinguished visiting professor
in the year 2002. He was a Visiting International Scholar
of Western Michigan University, USA. and coordinator of
international academic exchange programmes between Rajagiri
and various universities in the USA and Europe.
Fr. Varghese is a member of the National Assessment
and Accreditation Council (NAAC) UGC. He has authored a
book : Cultural Diversity and Aspirations of Indian Youth.
Dr.
Laliamma Jose, M.Sc.,
Ph.D, Principal, is a Post Graduate in
Chemistry from the University of Kerala. She took her Ph.D.
in Polymer Chemistry from Cochin University of Science &
Technology. In 1995 she won “The Young Scientist Award”
of Kerala Science Congress. She has published many research
papers in National and International Journals.
Prof. Jose Mathew
Mattam - Dean.
He had his post graduation in Management from the prestigious
XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute), Jamshedpur. In
a career spanning over more than four decades he has had
extensive experience in corporate business and business
education.
Kick starting his career in 1964 by working for the private
industries in Calcutta, he made a career switch to become
faculty member at XLRI, Jamshedpur followed by faculty positions
at XISS, ranchi and the Central staff training college of
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) at Ranchi. His transition
to industry came again in 1981, when his corporate pedigree
training and personnel management skills became integral
to be chosen to start off the training and development function
at Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON)
where he rose to the position of General Manager to head
the Corporate Personnel and Administration. After a long
innings of 17 years with Keltron he made a shift to the
academic world by taking up the position of Dean at XIME,
Bangalore.
